decisions....

I'm working on a shawl. The pattern gives three options for the edging, and I'm considering option one or two...

1: Knit entire thing in the round. This means that alternate rows are purled. This is the main reason I'm not really wanting to do this, as my purling speed is SLOW.

2: Knit the 4 sides flat and seam one corner. I'm not really excited about a seam in a corner, but can't decide if its preferable to having to purl every.other.row.
